Title: Ruins Attack

Disclaimer: All the names used in this story belong to my friends. This story is not making any money off of anyone or anything. The air outside was cool and damp while three frineds talked at their normal meeting place, Naboo's Temple Ruins. The three were all Jedi; Jedi Isis Baset, Verity Sukune, and MasterKnight Kinesis, MK for short. The three had all known each other for a long time and were all very good friends. In the middle of their talking, suddenly out of no where a dark mist formed from the forest area of the Ruins. Verity had his lightsaber ignited within moments, while the other two waited to ignite their own lightsabers. They all felt a familiar disturbance in the area, they knew someone was on his or her's way, what they did not know was who was on their way. Out of he mist, with a evil and familiar grin to the Jedi appeared Darth Lord Sodan. Sodan use to be one of the Jedi's good friends, until he had turned and started attacking them and their other friends. Verity glared at Sodan, his eyes showing great rage toward him. "You, how dare you show your face here!" said Verity. Isis moved close to Verity and tried to her best to calm him down, but it was no use. He was very upset and would not calm himself. At that moment another figure appeared out of the dark mist. It was Karragen, Sodan's sister and another old friend of the Jedi's that had turned. Karragen stood next to her brother silently and watched the three Jedi with a grin matching that of her brother's. Sodan calmly took out his double-bladed lightsaber and took a few steps toward Isis, Verity, and MK. Isis and MK stayed calm and stood their ground, but the upset Verity ran with all his might to Sodan and sliced his ignited saber at Sodan's midsection. Sodan had already figured that Verity would try something first and had easily dodged his attack by stepping to the side. He watched as Verity simply ran right pass him, then he laughed. Once Verity had passed him, Sodan quickly used the Dark Side to throw Verity into one of the old ruin walls. He then turned back to Isis and MK. "Back off Sodan, go away and leave us be!" said MK calmy and steadily. "Oh, but don't you want to have some fun and fight me MK?" asked Sodan as he took a few steps toward MK. At the time Isis had ran to help Verity, who had hurt himself badly. But Karrgaen stopped her before she could get to Verity. Isis stared at Karragen coldly, not saying a word. Then after a few moments she spoke. "Move aside Karrageb, now!" Karragen shook her head, "No, I think I would like to stay where I am... unless you would like to make me move?" she asked with a smile. Isis's anger swelled slightly at what Karragen had said, but she easily calmed herself and smiles. "I will do what I must." Meanwhile Sodan continued to walk closer and closer to MK. Trying to make her anger grow more and more with each little remark he made. But MK remained calm, even though she seemed annoyed and upset with some of the things Sodan had said. "Oh, come no MK, don't you feel the anger growing in yourself? Isn't a wonderful feeling? The felling of power, of might, to be stronger than everyone else." "Sodan you are wrong, you are following a path of evil, a path which is not for me. I will never join you or your kind. The only thing you feel in me is my sympathy towards how you are acting right now. That is all, nothing more, nothing less." "Ah, but that is what you think. You hav yet to taste the powers of the Dark Side --" started Sodan. But MK stopped him before he could say anymore." --And I do not plan to ever taste the powers of that worthless Dark Sode. I am a Jedi and a Jedi I will stay." Sodan smiled at MK, "Then you will die" with that Sodan ignited his double bladed saber, which he had been holding in his hand since he began talking to MK. MK had her own saver ignited within moments. "Stand down Sodan, don't do this" warned MK. "Yes, but I want to do this" said Sodan. He then rushed to MK with great speed, slicing his saber at her head. MK ducked quickly, going down to her knees as Sodan's blade went over her head. She then kicked Sodan in the leg while she was down there. Sodan yelled in pain and stared coldly a MK as she stood up and took a few steps away from the angry Sodan. While Sodan and MK continued fighting, Isis and Karragen were busy throwing bad remarks at each other until finally Isis had, had enough. She quickly flipped over Karrgaen and with her already iginited lightsaber she sliced down at Karragen. Karragen was ready for Isis's attack and easily bloced it. Instead of attacking Karrgane again, Isis simply flipped over her again and ran toward Verity, she saw no reason in continuing the fight with her old friend. Karragen began to run after Isis, but she stopped herself and looked toward Sodan and MK fighting. She grinned and began walking toward them, to watch with joy as her brother fought. While Karragen walked to the fight, Isis had reached Verity and had kneeled next to him. He had passed out. She stayd with him and tried to wake him up with no luck. "Come on Verity, wake up!" said Isis over and over again. But he did not move. As Isis tried to wake up Verity, Sodan and MK had stopped fighting. They were just starring at each other now, breathing heavily, and MK with a bad cut at her side. Sodan grinned, "This is not over with MK, I will return and you will turn to the Dark Side or die." "I will never turn Sodan, you cannot make me" said MK. "We will see about that. Muhahaha" with those words Sodan and Karragen both disappeared into the dark mist from which they had come. MK sighed deeply and collapsed to the ground, bleeding badly... It had been nearly 15 minutes that MK had been laying on the ground. A puddle of blood was starting to form from her side. Isis was still with Verity, she had yet to see that MK was in such a bad state. Isis had just contracted her two brothers on her comlink and told them about what had happened; they were on their way. Isis knew it would take them at least 15 minutes to get here, she hated the wait, she could not stand the fact that her friends were hurt and at the same time! "Just stay calm" she told herself over and over again. "They will be here soon". She looked around, she had no idea where MK was, and she was starting to worry. "Come on Telemon, Blade...Hurry up!" Just as she said those words she saw Blade's ship in sight, just over the vest hills of the Ruins. She smiled slightly, soon they would be here. Blade pressed serveral buttons on the control panel as he brought his ship to a quiet and smooth landing. As soon as his ship was safely on the ground, he stood up and began to walk to the exit of the ship. As he walked to the cargo bay, where there was a exit, he saw Telmeon was waiting for him. "Come on, Isis said to get there as soon as possible. It must mean that something is the matter" said Telemon. Blade nodded and said, "Yeah, we better hurry." with that he pressed a large button by the door. As he pressed it, a ramp came down. Once it was down safely, Telemon and Blade stepped down and looked around for Isis. "There," said Blade, pointing to a ruin wall, in which Isis was leaning against with Verity. Telmeon nodded and began to walking toward Isis, Blade following at his side. Isis sighed, relieved as Telemon and Blade approached her. Within moments they had reached her and she began to tell them what had happened. "...And thats what happened, as if now I don't know what happened to MK, but as you see, Verity is badly hurt." said Isis as she finished explaining what had happened. Telemon nodded to her and said, "Blade, you and Isis go and take care of Verity. I'll get MK and bring her to your ship." Blade nodded back to Telemon, "Okay...Come on Isis, lets get Verity to my ship." said Blade as he and Isis picked up Verity an carried him to Blade's ship where they could take care of his cuts. As Blade and Isis took care of Verity, Telemon began wandering around the Ruins looking for MK. It did not take him long to find her, he soon saw her. She laying on the ground, and she was as if she was not alive; not moving at all. Telemon moved to MK quickly and kneeled down next to her, he saw the puddle of blood coming from her side. Her eyes were closed, and her bodying was laying limp as he gently shaked her to see if she was still even alive. She did not move. Telemon checkd her pulse, at first he did not feeling anything, he thought she was dead. But, after a moment he felt a small thumping; she was alive, barely, but alive nevertheless. Telemon carefully and gently picked up MK. He saw all the blood left from where she had been laying and hoped there was still time. He quickly carried MK back to Blade's ship. By the time Telemon had reached Blade's hip. Blade and Isis had already taken care of Verity; he was fine now. Now that they had MK in Blade's ship, Blade started up his ship again. He headed for the nearest city so that MK and Verity could be taken care of. After a day in the hospital, they were fine and rested up. MK was a little shakely still, but ok. She had lost alot of blood, but was still fine. |
